Logo of Aclima ACLIMA is the Cluster Association of Environment Industry of the Basque Country, and it was established in 1995 under the Strategic Plan of the Basque Government to contribute to the improvement of the environment in the Basque Country. The main objective of ACLIMA is the improvement of Environment in the Basque Country. The instruments are the promotion of environmental awareness, which would promote business in the Basque eco-industry. This promotion is also necessary in order to achieve the aforementioned objective.

Logo of Ekotek EKOTEK is a Basque SME specialised in the accomplishment of Engineering Projects in the Environmental Sector from the previous R&D to the execution. Our main activities include Environmental Impact Studies, Sustainable Development Programmes, RTD on Renewable Energy Sources, Environmental Analysis and Diagnosis, etc. One of the main factors that makes EKOTEK a different company is the development of its own technology, for its integration in the developing projects obtaining, like this, an optimum efficiency of its activities.

EUDEL, Public Association of Basque Municipalities (www.eudel.es)

Logo of Eudel EUDEL is the Public Association of Basque Municipalities, offering services to approximately 250 associated municipalities. The participation of EUDEL will be crucial to conduct the conversations and cooperation with the city councils and to raise the awareness of the municipalities to participate in the project. EUDEL´s participation will also be very helpful to assure the obtaining of the authorisations required to carry out the field activities of the project.

GAIKER, Technological Centre (www.gaiker.es)

Logo of Gaiker GAIKER is a Technological Centre participated by the Industry Department of the Basque Government and the Innovation and Economic Promotion Department of the Bizkaia County Council that develops technologies for the protection and rehabilitation of the Environment. This covers the use of clean technologies, which lead to a more efficient use of raw materials and which allow preventive environmental policies to be adopted in companies, increasing their competitiveness. GAIKER belongs to several European Networks focused on soils and sediments representing like NICOLE, CABERNET and SEDNET.

IHOBE (www.ihobe.net)

Logo of Ihobe IHOBE is the public society of environmental management of the Basque Government Environmental Department. IHOBE is the authority responsible for the Environmental Management and Land Use Development and Planning in the Basque Country. IHOBE highly supports the performance of the present project as it will promote the re-development of derelict urban land sites (brownfields) and the integration of new socio-economic activities in urban areas throughout the Basque Country. IHOBE considers that the results expected in this project will contribute to improve local urban development strategies and will be very valuable to achieve the objectives and goals established in local programmes, such as the Basque Environmental Framework Programme 2002-2020.
